“Time to Remember” Service
“Time to Remember” A MEMORIAL and thanksgiving service for those who have died during the ongoing Covid pandemic is to be held in Basingstoke Baptist Church, Gershwin Road later this month.
On Sunday March 20th – 10.30am our service focus will be the remembrance of those we have loved and lost from March 2020 to March 2022 – the Covid years. A tree of remembrance will be dressed with labels naming individuals and through the service opportunity will be made for family and friends to bring their thoughts and prayers.
The church minister Dave Bishop said, “So many of us have lost loved ones during the past two years and, due to Covid, have been unable to gather to remember and give thanks for their lives as we would have wished. This is an opportunity to do just that in a special time dedicated to those dear to us. Come as a family group, bring a photo of your loved one, if you wish. This time is for you!”
As a church in the heart of the Brighton Hill community, Basingstoke Baptist continues to look for ways to love and support its neighbours. We hope that this service will help many to celebrate the lives of those lost during this challenging time. Name labels are available in the lobby of the church and refreshments will be available at the end of the service.
