Recycling in Hatch Warren
Many of our readers will have seen the article in the Basingstoke Gazette regarding the recycling of tetra packs, plastic yoghurt pots etc. These can now be recycled and there is a collection point at nine places across the Borough – the local one being Brighton Hill Shopping Centre. There is a collection point at Sainsbury’s on Hatch Warren for Mixed Plastics but this does not include tetra packs (ie those thick cardboard containers used for long life drinks, fruit juices etc.) So please keep these in a separate container and take to a tetra pack recycling location.
It is understood that the recycling collection at Sainsbury’s is managed by a different company and The Rabbiter will be asking them if it is feasible to have a collection for tetra packs there also.
