Hatch Warren student aims for Kilimanjaro climb!
Jessica Saunders travelled to Cameroon, Africa, during her gap year last year for 8 weeks to teach English and Maths to children aged 7 and 8. This was such an amazing opportunity so when her University offered Jessica the opportunity to raise money for the charity Hope for children that support kids in 9 different across the world, she couldn’t pass it up!
Hope For Children give schooling, provide health education for doctors so that children can get proper care when sick and tackle child labour exploitation. They do great work and deserve recognition.
Jessica is taking up the challenge of climbing Kilimanjaro in September to raise a target of £2990. Its a 6 day trek and during the trip participants get the opportunity to visit one of the Hope For Children projects to see where the money we raised goes. This will be a big challenge but JessicaI feel she is ready to take it on.
Jessica told the Rabbiter, “So if you can please donate to the good cause, and support me in this challenge! Thank you very much!”
