Caterpillar Music Classes Starting
A promise to bring great musical and sensory experiences to young children has been made by Jasmine McCarthy (Jaz to her friends) who started her Caterpillar Music sessions at the end of February at the Hatch Warren Community Centre.
A professional music teacher, with three young children, she is harnessing her skills together with her experience of being a young mum to engage and stimulate young children making each Caterpillar Music class an exciting experience for the child and their parent.
“We have amazing fun with music, action songs, puppets, pom poms, ribbons, light shows and more exciting activities every week at Caterpillar Music” Jazz explained. She went on “We explore a theme each week which we base our songs and activities on – so we may be taking a trip to the zoo, diving under the sea or taking a trip to the moon. We maintain a strong routine which the children very quickly pick up and enjoy”.u
“We have exciting instruments, bubbles, parachutes and sensory equipment as well as learning about colours, numbers, shapes and more. Children learn through play and song and make friends while doing it. There’s a lovely relaxed atmosphere at my classes and children are encouraged to join in as much or as little as they wish.”
Jaz is highly experience in this venture as she runs Caterpillar Music classes in Tadley, Bramley, Chineham, Oakridge, Basingstoke town centre, Viables and Brighton Hill and was nominated “Best Activity Leader for the Under 5s (South)”.
There will be two classes at HWCC on Tuesdays in term time; 10.00 – 10.40 am and 10.50 – 11.30 am. There is a maximum of fifteen children in each class and cost £33 payable for each half term or pro rata. Contact Jaz on 07952 935021 to find out more or to make a booking.
