Basingstoke Male Voice Choir at Brighton Hill…
Our spring concert will prove an interesting departure for the choir as we return to school! The concert on Saturday, May 10th will take place at Brighton Hill Community School and we shall be raising funds in support of a charity suggested by the school. The Children’s Choir are from a school in Uganda with whom Brighton Hill have links. The group is made up of, and represents, children that are cared for at King’s Kid Home School in Mityana in Uganda).
The concert will be our first of 2025, having celebrated our 60th anniversary in 2024, and will feature new songs that we’ve been busily rehearsing, along with some old favourites. Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and a child (U-18) option for £5. The concert will start at 7:30 PM – with doors open from 7PM.

The choir will be singing in support of the ‘Friends of St Lawrence church’ in Wooton St Lawrence, along with Oooh Mama. This concert is being held to raise funds for the ‘St Lawrence for Our Time’ improvement project – to provide a water supply, toilet, kitchen and meeting area in our beautiful church.
